HOW I WORK IS NOT FOR EVERYONE,

AND THAT'S OK

I'm for you, if you are not looking for someone to be in your face telling you what to do all day long. If you are looking someone to keep you calm and relaxed, be there for you at every point and to even help you get into your dress, I'm for you. We're a good fit it you know you want photographs to look back on that document all of the emotions of the day, without forcing fake smiles and laughs, creating authentic memories. No two weddings should be the same, and you feel this way. You've spent so much time planning, organising and creating 'your vibe', you just want someone there who is going to bring all of your visions to life in a gallery that you can cherish and share forever.

I don't have an ideal client, and I'm not looking for them. I don't care who you are or where you've come from. If you are looking to have a good time, are up for getting a little dirty and cold or even feel like having a dance off with all your friends as your first dance then we will get along just fine. I'm the type of person who will find you the most epic locations to have your photos taken (which may mean going on a walk and potentially facing a load of mud) and I'll help you out of your comfort zone to enjoy every part of the experience. I personally hate being infront of the camera, so trust me when I say there will be only 'good' awkwardness which I guarantee will get your 'the shot'.

Basically what I'm saying is...

I WILL help you get ready, I WILL help you get your timings right and I WILL make sure you're relaxed and have the best day possible and we'll be friends by the end.

I WILL NOT tell you what to do, I WILL NOT make you awkward pose or create boring traditional images.

I'm NOT a traditional wedding photographer, and if this is what you're looking for, I'm not for you.

FAQ's

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNT AS YOU'RE OUT OF OUR BUDGET

I do not offer discounts unless your venue is somewhere I would love to shoot at. I have a very limited amount of space available for weddings so I am unable to discount at this time.

Payment plans wise, a £500 non-refundable deposit is due upon booking to secure the date and the rest of the balance isn’t due until approx. 4 weeks before the wedding (it works out to be the 1st of the month prior to the wedding) I’ve had some clients in the past wish to split the final balance over two payments, one being due about 6 months before the big day and the other 4 weeks before which I’d be happy to discuss if it means we can get you booked in! Please feel free to contact me and mention this upon enquiry.

DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU?

Yes please.

I do like to sit down for a quick break when you and your guests are sitting down for dinner. I mean, let’s face it - no one wants a photographer taking a photo of them whilst they’re eating and it’s your time (and my time) to take a well earned rest and enjoy some downtime with your S/O and guests.

You don't need to worry about fitting me into table plans as I’m more than happy to sit away from yourselves and your guests (plus this allows me to check over my equipment/ photos taken so far and check over timelines/ events yet to happen). Your venue/ catering team can usually recommend some options for me and most will have even accommodated within the numbers for us already. I find it’s always best to communicate with them prior to your day and everything should be good!

do you have insurance?

I am insured for Public Liability with up to £2 million pounds of cover, professional Indemnity insurance and all of my equipment is also insured. Where needed, I can provide you with full certification or increase insurance coverage (some venues may require this but you can check with them!) if required.

In terms of equipment, I am what the industry calls a ‘Dual Shooter’ (I basically shot on two cameras at all times) This means I always have a backup camera with me along with a range of different lenses if something (touch wood it hasn’t so far) goes wrong. If you’re adding a second photographer to your package, they'll also usually come with two cameras and a range of lenses so there will always be substantial equipment in case of an emergency.

WE'RE SUPER AWKWARD AND NOT PHOTOGENIC, HELP!

This is something EVERYONE thinks and all I can say is trust me! I know what I'm doing when it comes to this and every photo you see on the website has come from this initial statement. Majority of people hate having their photo taken and hate being centre of attention. I'm not here to force anything. I allow you to be you and that's pretty much it.
